2013 - The Year in Review

Song: Lorde - Bravado Location: Kreuzberg/Berlin

As 2013 draws to a close, we are totally getting a little sentimental over here. We have had our ups and downs and faced a lot of new challenges but when we look back, we really feel like, over all, this was an awesome year for us. We met a lot of great people, we made a lot of new friends and we did some BIG things, we never dreamed possible in such a short space of time.

Here are our highlights and headlines from our 2013:

10. Getting stocked all over the world in awesome independent stores

This was the year we joined forces with some amazing and progressive tastemakers to become stocked all over the world: Arkive Girls, Editorial Boutique, Pop Rocky, Kitsch Bitch, Original Native, Fkids are Older to name but a few.

9.When we made our 'Revolution Blues' Video

We made this video as our Homage to Patty Hearst (Stockholm Syndrome Sufferer and Revolutionary) for our Revolution Blues SS13 Range. Made by Dan Vallins and featuring Lydia Graham with an Original Soundtrack by Four Big Watts.

Viva la Revolution!

8. Our very first Press day

This was a real big deal for us... We had our first ever Press Day at Coffin on Cake PR! AND we did so alongside amazing brands like JuJu Jellies, Quay Eyewear, Cat Footwear and Converse.

 7. Being Stocked and Selling out in Urban Outfitters

This Summer we were stocked in Urban Outfitters in the UK and Europe and we sold out! We also managed to do it all ethically! HELL YEAH!

6. Making our 'Avant Garde The Time For That' Lookbook

We worked with the extraordinary Alexandra Waespi & Aude Jamier on this analogue masterpiece in Berlin and we also managed to turn a few heads with it too!

5. Our first ever appearance in printed press

This year, for the first time, we saw ourselves in LOTS of magazines!

4. Street Artist Veronika Paints put us on a wall in South London

This totally blew us away.

3. Haim on the cover of Under The Radar wearing Terrible Movement

The most talked about band of 2013 rocking Terrible Movement on the cover of a magazine - AH-MAZING!

2. Cara Delevingne, at NYFW, wearing Terrible Movement

One of our style icons and at the time, Vogue Cover Girl and Model of the Year - The Amazing Cara Delevingne wearing our Muscle Tee!

Cara Delevingne Terrible Movement

And finally, the thing that made our year, the great year that is was:

1. YOU

Seeing all of you guys, from all corners of the planet, rocking your Terrible Movement Tees, Muscle Tees, Beanies and Sweatshirts. No single moment of our year matches this. Thank you for all your love and support this year. Together we're making being ethical totally badass and changing the world of fast fashion one tee at a time!

We can't wait to do it all again next year and we're so over-the-moon to have you guys by our side. Thank you for joining the (not so) Terrible Movement and making ethical cool.

That's all from us for 2013. Here's to an awesome 2014.

Much love from Berlin.
